Since 2014, the AEHS Alumni Association has provided a scholarship to a senior student who is the first in his/her family to be attending college and intending to pursue a career in the STEM areas of science, technology, engineering and/or mathematics.
The AEHS Alumni Association is moving ahead with applications for the 2025 First in the Family Scholarships. $3000 each are provided to one young woman and one young man who’ve been outstanding students and intend to pursue postsecondary education and careers in the STEM fields. Each recipient is also the first one in their families to be attending college.
To qualify, the student, while at Einstein, must have excelled academically, demonstrated qualities of kindness and generosity of spirit, and won the respect of their peers.
For 2025, the scholarships will be coordinated by Mr. Edgar Trigo of the College and Career Counseling Center. Applications will be available in February. Presentations will be made in May at Senior Awards Night.
