Alumni Association

The value of an AEHS Alumni Association is only as good as we make it together.

Our Mission

The AEHS Alumni Association is an adjunct of the AEHS Hall of Fame, established in 2014 for the purpose of fostering connections among alumni as well as between alumni and current AEHS students and staff. The Alumni Association intends to provide, through its website, a place for alumni to re-establish or maintain relationships. The Alumni Association intends to sponsor a variety of social activities open to all interested members. The Alumni Association intends to conduct fundraising activities to provide support to new AEHS graduates and to AEHS programs to the extent possible.

Our Commitment

  • Send monthly Nucleus Alumni News to all Alumni Association members and post it online.
  • Moderate an Alumni Association Facebook group for sharing.
  • Spread the word about upcoming class reunions.
  • Organize social gatherings for Alumni.
  • Invite all Alumni to join the Alumni Association.
  • Keep Alumni abreast of significant events at AEHS.
  • Encourage Alumni participation in AEHS activities, including concerts, theatrical productions, art shows, athletic events.
  • Provide gifts to graduating seniors on behalf of the Alumni Association.

What We Do

We publish a monthly newsletter distributed to over 2,000 alumni as well as school staff and members of the AEHS parent groups. We have a Facebook group that is used as a communication vehicle by many graduates.


We provide annual donations to student activities including the AEHS school newspaper, AEHS yearbook, literary magazine, and theater/music/dance programs. In 2022, the Alumni Association provided special help to Einstein's award-winning Marching Band.


We give our "First in the Family" scholarships every year. These awards help enable a senior boy and senior girl to fulfill their dreams of becoming the first individual in their family to attend college.


Your Alumni Association is the proud sponsor of the AEHS Arts Hall of Fame that recognizes and honors graduates who've made significant contributions to the arts through performance, education and/or promotion.

  • Spread news about the Alumni Association to AEHS graduates.
  • Use our Einstein Business Directory created to promote the enterprises of our graduates around the country.
  • Participate in AEHS activities, including concerts, theatrical productions, art shows, and athletic events.

Alumni Association March Fundraising Drive

April 5, 2024 - Message closing the Annual Fundraising Drive


Our March 2024 fundraising drive has ended - no more emails urging you to donate to the Alumni Association. Now we move forward to the Alumni Association’s busiest time of the year. We will be awarding three scholarships in May: two to students ($3,000 each) receiving our First in the Family scholarships and one to our first recipient ($2,500) of the Michael D. Wolf Memorial Scholarship endowed by Barbara Wolf. As we go to press, we have not learned the identity of these worthy individuals—look for a story next month.

March 1, 2024 - Message opening the Annual Fundraising Drive

Dear Fellow Graduates of Einstein High School,

 

Happy March 1, Everyone! Do you know that on this day in U.S. History:

  • The International Monetary Fund is formed (1947)
  • Titanic becomes first film to gross $1 billion (1998)

 
And you know another significant event? We kick off the Alumni Association’s annual fundraising month with a 2024 goal of $10,000.       

 

The Association began in 2014 and here is where we are today. We send out our Briefs to over 2,000 alumni and other supporters. We host a Facebook group where news of alumni to alumni and for alumni is shared (we especially like the old time photos!) We have provided scholarships to 16 seniors to pursue careers in STEM subjects; each of them the “First in the Family” to pursue postsecondary education. We have annually supported Einstein’s publications, as well as its award-winning arts programs. We continue to honor graduates and faculty who’ve left their marks on the Arts here at Einstein as well as nationally and globally. 

 

We can reach our goal if everyone pitches in. Contributions are tax-deductible (and will give you a warm feeling of community as well!)
