In 2007, the Albert Einstein High School Athletic Hall of Fame established The Jack Keller Legacy Award Fund. Establishment of the Keller Fund represented the first step towards fulfilling one of the most important elements of the HOF Mission Statement; to create and maintain an athletic and scholarship fund to provide a source of encouragement, recognition and reward for the most deserving student-athletes at AEHS.
The HOF Executive Committee was unanimous in its decision to honor the memory of Jack Keller, who served AEHS as teacher, coach and loyal friend from the opening of the school in 1962 to his departure in 1970. During these years, Mr. Keller was admired and loved for his devotion to the students he taught and the players he coached. Mr. Keller was a model of strength, dedication, leadership, integrity and discipline. Mr. Keller led the Titans to their first County Baseball Championship in 1965 and would win championships again in 1967 and 1969.
